I was sitting at my desk, thinking about how much I missed those epic Nowruz celebrations from when I was a kid. So I grabbed my apple pencil and got to work. The hyacinths were my favorite part—they’re so dramatic and extra, just like spring itself! Then came the Sabzeh, looking all fresh and full of life. And the garlic? Honestly, I laughed while painting it because, let’s be real, it’s not the prettiest—but it’s got that cool vibe of protection, like a little warrior on the table. Every item had its own personality, and I swear, I was talking to them like they were my old friends.
By the time I finished, I stepped back and thought, "Whoa, this actually feels like Nowruz!" It’s not just a painting—it’s all those childhood memories and cozy family moments wrapped into one colorful piece.
